Hearts' Faycal Rherras leaves club after one season
The defender made 23 appearances and scored one goal for the Tynecastle side.
Hearts defender Faycal Rherras has left the club by mutual consent after just one season at Tynecastle.
The 24-year-old Moroccan international joined the side, then managed by Robbie Neilson, in summer 2016 after two years at Sint-Truidense.
He has made 23 appearances and scored one goal, in the 3-3 draw with Inverness Caley Thistle in October.
Rherras hasn't played for Hearts since the 2-0 defeat to Partick Thistle at the end of February.
Ian Cathro has named him on the bench twice since then but he has failed to feature at any other time.
Meanwhile, Nikolay Todorov has signed a new one-year deal after impressing on two loan spells away from the club this season.
The 20-year-old spent the first half of the campaign at Cowdenbeath, where he scored five goals, before helping Livingston clinch the League One title.
