Neil McCann to take charge of Dundee until end of season
The 42-year-old will replace Paul Hartley, who was sacked by the club on Monday.
Dundee will announce former player Neil McCann as their interim manager at a media conference on Tuesday evening.
The 42-year-old, who began his playing career at Dens Park, will take over from Paul Hartley after he was relieved of his duties on Monday.
McCann was previously assistant manager at Dunfermline but is now set for his first taste of managerial action at the Dark Blues.
Having started his career at Dundee, McCann had spells at Hearts, Rangers and Falkirk as well as winning 26 caps for Scotland.
Dundee currently sit 11th in the Premiership, two points behind tenth-placed Motherwell in the table.
Their first post-split fixture is against the Steelmen at Fir Park on April 29.
They then have a trip to Kilmarnock before home matches against Ross County and Inverness. The final day of the season sees them travel to Hamilton Accies.
