Dundee United are set to receive a £1m windfall from Andy Robertson's move to Burnley.

The Scotland international is poised to leave Hull City for the Clarets in a move reported to be worth £10m.

United will benefit from a 10% sell-on clause inserted into the £2.85m deal which took Robertson from Tannadice to Hull in 2014.

The 22-year-old has been a consistent performer for the Tigers this term, making a total of 21 appearances this season.

After making his name with United in 2013-14, Robertson has helped Hull to return to the English Premier League as well as establishing himself as Scotland's leading left-back.

Robertson is not the only Scotland international to leave the KCOM Stadium this month with Robert Snodgrass completing his move to West Ham last week.
