Kilmarnock assistant boss Lee McCulloch hailed the comeback win over Ross County as the Rugby Park side's "best performance of the season."

Sean Longstaff fired home on 90 minutes for Killie in a dramatic Ladbrokes Premiership clash, which had appeared destined for a draw.

Kris Boyd scored the Premiership's fastest ever goal, lobbing home after just 10 seconds, but Ross County were soon in front with quickfire goals from Christopher Routis and Alex Schalk.

Killie's Gary Dicker equalised on 60 minutes with a neat volley before Longstaff struck the winner late on.

Kilmarnock assistant boss McCulloch said: "In the first half we got a great start with Kris Boyd doing what he does best. Then for about the next 10-15 minutes we were all over the place.

"But we got our composure back, and I thought we finished the first half pretty strong. In the second half, we were brilliant."

McCulloch added: "We have got a young team, a really young team. It's hard [for the young boys], but it's a learning curve. We need to deal with it.

"If they want to go to big clubs, they're going to need to deal with it times 10, maybe more."
