Hull City midfielder Ryan Mason is making "excellent progress" after suffering a fractured skull at Chelsea.

Mason underwent surgery following a clash of heads with Chelsea defender Gary Cahill, but is continuing to improve at a London Hospital.

Msaon's family released a statement on Monday evening, thanking people for their support in the aftermath of the incident.
