Luke Hendrie: I've loved life at Kilmarnock and want to stay
Defender's loan deal from Burnley is due to come to an end in January.
Luke Hendrie says he would love to extend his loan spell at Kilmarnock until the end of the season.
The on-loan Burnley defender's current deal with the Scottish Premiership side expires in January, with talks under way to extend the arrangement.
Hendrie has made 15 appearances for the Rugby Park side and has made the right back slot his own under Lee Clark.
Clarets boss Sean Dyche has been monitoring his progress, with Hendrie keen to remain in Ayrshire for a while longer.
He told STV: "Yeah I'd love to [stay]. I've loved it, the training, the games and it has worked out well. I think we've had a good start.
"I'd love to stay and hopefully it will get sorted soon. I've been made to feel welcome since I walked in the door by players, staff and fans.
"It's been good for me, I've played every minute and that's the most important thing. It's been a great experience so far."
