Moussa Dembele score the goal that put Celtic in the first cup final of the season but played down talk of a clean sweep of silverware.

After defeating Rangers 1-0, the defending champions will take on Aberdeen next month in the League Cup final. Already topping the Premiership, Brendan Rodgers' side look heavy favourites to add another league title but Dembele said effort and performances were the only things to think about.

"This team is capable of a lot of things," he said. "When we are out there together we give 100 per cent.

"But I won't say we are capable of doing the treble. We just need to see how our games are going. If we keep winning games we'll see what happens."

The striker was also reluctant to consider the possibility of going through the league season unbeaten.

"I don't know," he said. "We have to make sure that we're ready every day and give our best every day.

"When we are at 100 per cent it is hard for teams to beat us and that is the reality of the game.

"Days like today are part of the reason why I came here. Celtic is a team who want trophies and I came here to be successful.

"Hopefully we can make a start on that in the final."

Dembele now has 15 goals for Celtic since arriving in the summer and has displaced Leigh Griffiths as first choice forward despite the Scot scoring 40 times last season. He wouldn't be drawn on any targets for the season.

"I will score as many as I can," he added. "Leigh is a great striker and a good goalscorer."
