Harry Souttar leaves Dundee United for Stoke City on three-year deal
The 17-year-old defender's switch to the Premier League has been completed.
Teenage defender Harry Souttar has completed his move from Dundee United to Stoke City on a three-year deal.
The 17-year-old has made the switch to the Premier League club for an undisclosed fee, with the transfer finally ratified by FIFA after being agreed before the close of the transfer window last month.
Souttar made four appearances for the Dundee United first team since breaking into the senior fold from the club's youth academy last year.
He made his debut in May 2016 and scored his only goal for the the Tayside club in a 4-2 win against Kilmarnock on the final day of last season.
"It took a while to come through, but very happy that it's all done now," Souttar said in a Twitter post.
"I want to thank everyone at Dundee United for my five years at the club."
