Guardiola: Celtic are used to pressure and showed that against City
Manchester City played out a thrilling 3-3 draw against the Hoops in the Champions League.
Pep Guardiola highlighted Celtic's capacity for dealing with pressure and how that helped them against Manchester City.
The former Barcelona and Bayern Munich boss pointed out the pressure Brendan Rodgers' side have to cope with on a weekly basis in Scotland.
"Every player who plays for Celtic knows that every weekend they have to win," he said.
"So every player that comes here to Scotland, they know it doesn't matter if they play here in this marvellous stadium or away, they have to win.
"They use that. That mentality, I saw that here. That's why I knew how tough it would be."
Moussa Dembele bagged a brace in the 3-3 Champions League draw, with Raheem Sterling also scoring an own goal. Guardiola praised the performance of the hosts and the quality of Celtic's team.
"They are strong in the long balls, they have amazing wingers, both of them are good, Sinclair especially," he said.
"And Roberts who played the last few minutes, we saw his quality in one against one, they are strong in the middle, so they are a good team."
