Pep Guardiola expects Celtic to replicate Rangers display against City
Man City boss expects a high intesity display from the hosts at 'special' Celtic Park.
Pep Guardiola expects Celtic to try and replicate the intensity of their derby victory over Rangers when they meet his Manchester City side in the Champions League.
The Catalan coach, who led Barcelona to two Champions League title and Bayern Munich to three successive Bundesliga crowns, has made a flying start to life the English side with 10 straight wins.
Victory on his first trip to Glasgow's east end would be record equalling but Guardiola believes he's ready to experience the unique occasion at the home of the Scottish champions.
He said: "I know Celtic are so strong here. I spoke to my players , my old players and all of them said this is a special stadium.
"It's a good challenge, a big challenge for us to know what our level is away from home in Europe."
Guardiola brushed off Celtic's opening day 7-0 loss in the Camp Nou against his old side and says he expects a different tactical approach from Brendan Rodgers' men.
He added: "I saw the game against Rangers here and how intense they were. It was totally different to the way they played against Barcelona.
"They waited more and more and were passive. Against Rangers they were so aggressive with high, high pressing.
"That is the game were are going to expect from them tomorrow night."
