Football Talk: Regan in UEFA election controversy, Neymar sings
All the latest football news from Scotland and beyond.
It may have been a presidential election without promises of big walls, plagiarised speeches or letters guaranteeing the candidate's health from Dr Nick Riviera from The Simpsons but the vote to name Michel Platini's successor has still proved controversial.
Scottish FA chief executive Stewart Regan has been accused of failing to act in the best interests of the Scottish game by voting for Aleksander Ceferin ahead of Michael van Praag. Regan was following the instruction of his board but there are plenty who aren't impressed, with the SPFL hinting they aren't exactly delighted.
On domestic matters, Regan has called for action in aftermath of last weekend's Old Firm derby. He'll be delighted to know that the next league encounter between the sides will be a low-key affair on Hogmanay.
Both teams from that game are dealing with the aftermath of their most recent results. Celtic skipper Scott Brown has said that his side's performance was unacceptable in the 7-0 defeat to Barcelona and he won't feel any better if he hears the Barca manager talk about how his players had "fun".
Philippe Senderos will be helped back to form after his nightmare competitive debut by the soothing words of former Switzerland hero Kubilay Turkyilmaz, who said the defender is "a lost soul". And Rangers manager Mark Warburton has told Rangers TV that Rangers weren't Rangers last Saturday and have to respond by being Rangers this Saturday.
Oh, and music fans will love Neymar's latest trick.
