Leigh Griffiths is out of Celtic's opening Champions League group game against Barcelona with a hamstring injury.

The striker was forced to miss Saturday's Old Firm derby clash against Rangers due to the problem following a scan on the injury on Thursday.

Griffiths was unable to travel with the Scotland squad for their 5-1 win over Malta and Brendan Rodgers says the 26-year-old won't return for another seven days.
