Celtic's Brendan Rodgers has been named Premiership Manager of the Month for August.

The Scottish champions have made a perfect start to the domestic season, winning all three of their league games heading into Saturday's clash with city rivals Rangers.

Rodgers has claimed the first prize of the campaign after seeing his team defeat Hearts, St Johnstone and Aberdeen in their early Premiership tests while also progressing in cup competitions and in Europe.

Celtic already boast the most potent attack in the division with 10 goals from three games while conceding just four times.
