Dundee have won the race to sign Tom Hateley on a two-year deal.
The 26-year-old, who can play in midfield and defence, has agreed a deal with Paul Hartley's side after holding talks with a number of top flight teams.
Hateley made his name with Stuart McCall's Motherwell before deciding to move to Tranmere Rovers in 2013.
A spell in Poland with Slask Wroclaw followed until his contract came to an end this summer.
Partick Thistle had been keen to recruit the player with Hateley holding talks with manager Alan Archibald.
