Philippe Senderos signs deal to become Rangers' final summer signing
Former Arsenal defender has agreed a one-year contract after trial period in Glasgow.
Philippe Senderos has signed a one-year deal to become Rangers' final summer signing.
The former Arsenal defender spent one week on trial with Mark Warburton's side and brings the club's search for a new central defender to an end.
The Rangers boss was keen for the deal to be done before this weekend's friendly with Linfield with the Light Blues' first league clash of the season against Celtic coming on September 10.
Swiss international Senderos becomes the eleventh arrival in this transfer window and he follows fellow defenders Clint Hill and Lee Hodson in the door.
Rangers held talks Adrian Mariappa and Joleon Lescott earlier this summer before both players signed for Watford and AEK Athens respectively.
