Glasgow Warriors' progress won't stop when I leave says Townsend
Coach says he won't allow players to become distracted by his exit for Scotland post next summer.
Gregor Townsend won't allow his Glasgow Warriors players to lose their focus this season following the announcement he will depart to become Scotland coach next summer.
Townsend will replace Vern Cotter as boss of the national side with New Zealander Dave Rennie signing a two-year deal to take over from Townsend at Scotstoun.
Warriors claimed the PRO12 title in 2015 and while he admits his post at Murrayfield is a dream come true, Townsend won't let it alter his coaching principles and says Glasgow's future is in safe hands under Rennie.
