A masked pitch invader attacked a goalkeeper before claiming he had planted a bomb in the stadium during a top-flight football match in Sweden.
The match between Jonkoping Sodra and Ostersund had to be abandoned after Ostersund keeper Aly Keita was knocked down and attacked during his side's match against Jonkoping Sodra.
Team-mates and officials ran to the aid of the 29-year-old before a security guard wrestled his attacker to the ground.
The attacker then said he had left an explosive device in the stands, but a search found no evidence of his claims.
The referee abandoned the game in the 90th minute with the score at 1-1.
"I am shocked and angry - it is awful that something like this could happen," Mr Keith told reporters, adding he had been struck on the head.
A 17-year-old has been arrested in connection with the incident and remains in police custody.
The Swedish Football Association said the match would not be restarted.
Its disciplinary committee will decide if the result should stand, or if away side Ostersund should be awarded a 3-0 victory if Jonkoping are found to have failed in their duty of care as hosts to ensure security.
