Celtic's Champions League tie with Astana is just days away and the club are still working to add new faces to the squad.

Former Liverpool, Manchester City and Arsenal defender Kolo Toure signed on at the Scottish champions but a move to sign Aston Villa's Scott Sinclair still hasn't come to fruition.

It's being reported that a fourth offer for the midfielder has been knocked back with the English Championship side demanding more money for the player.

Celtic can add one player to their playing squad ahead of the Astana tie under UEFA rules and if a price is agreed to draft in Sinclair then manager Brendan Rodgers will have to choose between him and Toure for the final spot.

Elsewhere, Rangers have been linked with Preston North End striker Joe Garner.

The cash-rich Premier League has seen price tags rise across the board but Manchester United have been told that £92m just isn't enough to land Paul Pogba with Juventus telling the club to add another £10m to their offer.

And Joe Allen, linked with Celtic earlier this summer, looks set to leave Liverpool for Stoke in return for a handsome £13m.
