Rangers duo Rob Kiernan and Wes Foderingham have signed new deals to extend their stay at Ibrox.

The English duo, who joined the Ibrox side last season, have put pen to paper on contracts which would keep them at the club until 2018 and 2019 respectively.

The defender and goalkeeper were key figures as the Light Blues eased to Championship glory last season, each securing a regular place in Mark Warburton's starting line-up.

Rangers are also keen to secure James Tavernier and Martyn Waghorn, who both initially rejected contract extensions earlier this month, on longer deals.

The pair made the move from Wigan last summer and both opened their tally for the new campaign in the weekend's 2-0 League Cup win over Motherwell.

Rangers brought in eight new faces during the break with Joey Barton, Jordan Rossiter, Josh Windass, Matt Crooks, Clint Hill, Niko Kranjcar, Matt Gilks and Lee Hodson all putting pen to paper.

Captain Lee Wallace has also renewed his contract with the club this summer along with coaching duo Mark Warburton and David Weir.
