Celtic ended their pre-season tour and warmed up for next week's Champions League qualifier against Lincoln Red Imps with a goalless draw against Maribor.

Stefan Johansen and Tom Rogic came close to making the breakthrough for Brendan Rodgers' side in Slovenia, but the Scottish Premiership champions were forced to settle for a 0-0 draw.

Rodgers started a front three of Moussa Dembele, Leigh Griffiths and Ryan Christie for the match, but Celtic still couldn't break the deadlock against a stubborn Maribor side.

Celtic will now travel directly to Gibraltar where they will face Lincoln Red Imps in Champions League qualification.

Motherwell's pre-season fixture away to Dumbarton saw them come from behind to claim a 2-1 win.

Mark McGhee named a young team for the game against the Scottish Championship outfit, and the Steelmen fell behind when Robert Thomson netted an impressive overhead kick from close range for the hosts.

But Motherwell hit back in the second half through Ross MacLean before Craig Moore scored what proved to be the winner after a calamitous mix-up in the Dumbarton defence.

Partick Thistle claimed a comfortable 2-1 win over Greenock Morton as they continued their pre-season preperations.

The Jags opened the scoring at Cappielow after just 12 minutes when David Amoo's deflected cross landed at the feet of Chris Erskine, giving the striker the simple task of finishing from close range.

And Erskine doubled his and his team's tally inside the first half, lashing home an astonishing volley to give Partick Thistle a 2-1 lead.

Morton clawed one back before the break, but Thistle saw out the win in the second half.

Robbie Neilson's Hearts side were beaten 3-1 by Scottish Championship side Dunfermline Athletic at East End Park.

Andrew Geggan gave Allan Johnston's side the lead after just 15 minutes, firing his shot into the roof of the net following a knock-down from a corner kick.

And Geggan found the net against just 10 minutes later, firing home from long-range to give Dunfermline a 2-0 lead over the Premiership opposition.

The Pars soon claimed a 3-0 lead as they dominated the contest, with Hearts only clawing one back late on as Dario Zanatta converted a penalty kick.
