Stuart Findlay joins Newcastle United after departure from Celtic
Scotland U21 defender spent last season on loan to Premiership side Kilmarnock.
Stuart Findlay has joined Newcastle United following his departure from Celtic.
The 20-year-old left the Scottish champions this summer following the club's decision not to offer him a fresh deal.
Findlay made 21 appearances while on loan at Kilmarnock last term and the Scotland U21 international has previously enjoyed loan spells at Dumbarton and Morton.
Now he has joined Rafa Benitez's side alongside forward Yasin Ben El-Mhanni as they prepare for life in the English Championship.
Newcastle's development boss Peter Beardsley said:"Steve Nickson and his recruitment staff have done their homework and done really well, and we're excited.
"They're good lads, they're nice lads and they mix well with the group, and that for me is the most important thing."
