Celtic and Rangers U20s learn Challenge Cup first round opponents
The Premiership colts sides were seeded for the first round draw of the competition.
Celtic and Rangers Under 20s sides have learned who they will face in the first round of the Challenge Cup.
The competition will adopt a new format for the 2016/17 season, with Scottish Premiership colts sides seeded for the draw and the tournament split into regional sections at this stage.
Celtic's Under 20s will face Annan Athletic at home, whilst Rangers' Under 20s will host Stirling University.
Eight clubs from League Two entered the draw at the first round stage, with Stirling Albion paired with Hearts' Under 20s and Clyde set to host Partick Thistle's Under 20s.
Newly promoted Edinburgh City will travel to Lanarkshire to face Motherwell's Under 20s, while there will be a Highland clash between Ross County's Under 20s and Brora Rangers.
First round games are scheduled to take place on August 2 and 3.
