Paul Hanlon signs fresh three-year contract with Lennon's Hibernian
Defender has committed his future to the Easter Road club despite interest from Aberdeen.
Paul Hanlon has targeted promotion to the Scottish Premiership after signing a new three-year deal with Hibernian.
The central defender attracted interest from Aberdeen but he has chosen to commit his future to the Easter Road side.
Hanlon, 26, made 44 appearances last term and helped the capital club lift the Scottish Cup for the first time since 1902.
He told the club's website: "I'm delighted to extend my stay for another three seasons.
"There is a real excitement following the end to the season and with Neil coming in, and I'm looking forward to getting started again.
"The fans have been brilliant with me throughout my time here, and it's great to see so many signed up for next season already.
"I'm now determined to build on our success from last season and get Hibs back to the Premiership."
