Andy Murray's French Open quarter-final against Richard Gasquet has been postponed until Wednesday following wet weather in Paris.

The Scot was due to take on the home favourite on Phillipe-Chatrier but heavy rain caused significant delays to Novak Djokovic's clash with Roberto Bautista Agut.

After another break in play at 4-1 in the third set of Djokovic's game, tournament officials confirmed Murray's match would not start.

The Scot now faces a potential backlog of games with no play possible at all on Monday due to torrential downpours.
