Blair Alston joins St Johnstone with Falkirk boss' best wishes
Peter Houston is happy to see the midfielder secure a two-year deal with Tommy Wright's Saints.
Peter Houston says Blair Alston will join St Johnstone on a two-year deal with Falkirk's best wishes.
The midfielder has joined Tommy Wright's men on a deal until the summer of 2018.
The Perth side first expressed their interest back in January and stepped up their bid to secure the player's signature as the season drew to a close.
Alston came through the ranks of Falkirk's youth system and made his first team debut in 2010.
The 24-year-old went on to make over 200 appearances for the Bairns and was an integral part of Falkirk's push for promotion to the Premiership last season.
And after claiming the Championship Manager of the Year prize, Houston says he's thrilled for the player.
Houston also expressed his desire to remain at the Falkirk Stadium and secure a return to the Premiership following their play-off defeat to Kilmarnock.
