Nicky Clark has been released by Rangers as Mark Warburton's men start their summer reshuffle ahead of life in the Scottish Premiership.

The striker will not be handed a new deal by the Ibrox side after making 32 appearances this season.

Clark came off the bench during Saturday's Scottish Cup final defeat to Hibernian and scored a crucial last-minute winner during the fifth round replay against Kilmarnock at Rugby Park.

The 24-year-old joined Rangers in the summer of 2013 after scoring 41 goals for Queen of the South during the 2012/13 season.

However he found regular first-team opportunities hard to come by, scoring eight times in 26 matches during his first season.

The former Aberdeen and Peterhead player scored during the Premiership play-off semi-final against Hibernian in May 2015 but he found himself behind Martyn Waghorn and Kenny Miller this term.
