Gordon Strachan has also called up Scott Fox, Stephen Kingsley and Craig Bryson.
Gordon Strachan has called up Hearts goalkeeper Jack Hamilton, making changes to his Scotland squad for the friendlies against Italy and France.
Scott Fox, Stephen Kingsley and Craig Bryson have also been called up, with Scott Bain and Allan McGregor pulling out of the squad.
Barry Bannan, Robert Snodgrass, Shaun Maloney and Andrew Robertson will also be unavailable for the match against Italy in Malta due to their involvement in the English Championship play-off final.
Hamilton has played just 270 minutes of Scottish Premiership football for Hearts this season, providing back-up to first choice goalkeeper Neil Alexander.
Kingsley could be in line to make his senior international debut for Scotland after recently breaking into the Swansea City starting lineup, named as the Welsh club's under-21 player of the season last week.
Fox and Bryson have become regular fixtures in the Scotland squad of late, although the former is still waiting to make his debut.
