Celtic manager Ronny Deila wouldn't address questions about his future following defeat to Rangers, saying his emotions were running high following a dramatic game.

Championship winners Rangers twice led at Hampden but Celtic recovered to 2-2 after extra time, only to lose 4-2 on penalties.

The result and performance saw Deila's future at Celtic thrown into question but he said he was now turning his focus to ensuring his side got over the line to seal the Premiership title.

"You know you're going to get those questions all the time and of course when you don't get the result , you get those questions," he said. "Today I'm very disappointed and I'm not thinking about that at all.

"I know why the question is coming but now we have to lift ourselves after this disappointment and get the league over the line.

"There's five games left in the season and the important thing is to get through those and win the league.

Asked if he could survive the defeat, Deila was non-committal saying "That's for the future, you have to say.

"The only thought I have now is to get the league title into Celtic Park.

"Again, after this game, it's hard to talk about these things [my future].

"There's a lot of emotions going on but with bad results then of course you get these questions."

However, Deila did address the future when asked if Rangers would challenge Celtic for the league next season.

"We are going to be ready when they come up," he said. "Now we are top of the league and we are going to fight to get that title to Celtic Park.

"We will see next year what they have to offer.

"It is a totally different thing to do something over 38 games than to do it over one."
