Michael O'Halloran insists Rangers are not limping over the finish line in their bid to wrap up the Championship title despite conceding nine goals in their last three games.

The Ibrox striker netted in his side's 3-3 draw away to Raith Rovers on Saturday but it wasn't enough to secure league glory.

The home side's stoppage time equaliser denied Rangers the chance to be crowned champions and they will now go into Tuesday evening's fixture with Dumbarton looking to seal the honour.

O'Halloran's side have conceded a third of all league goals let in over the course of the season in their last three fixtures. Despite the slack play in defence though, the goalscorer is adamant his side are not stumbling to title glory.

"I think we've still been playing good football and scoring a lot of goals," he said. "Obviously we've not been happy with the goals we've been conceding but we've spoken about that.

"We're still playing the same football we've been playing all season, it's been entertaining so we're far from limping over the line. We've got five games to spare and a chance to go and win the title."

O'Halloran was reluctant to point the finger of blame at his defensive team-mates, saying any errors should be shouldered by everyone in the side.

"When we've not got the ball everybody is a defender, the strikers included," he continued. "It's something we've looked at as a team, how we can be more resolute and more difficult to beat. Sometimes we're too expansive."
