St Mirren boss Alex Rae has accepted a one-game touchline ban which will see him watch today's Championship match at Alloa from the stand.

Rae was sent to the stand by referee Barry Cook during the home league defeat to Raith on Tuesday night.

The former Dundee boss was charged with a breach of disciplinary rule 203, the charge specifically stating that, "on or around the 64th minute you committed misconduct by using offensive, abusing or insulting language to the match referee".

Rae was quoted after the match as saying: "I was a bit frustrated with what I was watching and if I actually said what I wanted to say I would probably be thrown out of football."

Saints are in seventh place, 20 points ahead of bottom side Alloa.
