Two called up as Whittaker and Naismith drop out of Scotland squad
Paul Caddis and Ross McCormack get the nod for the Czech Republic friendly.
Gordon Strachan has called up Paul Caddis and Ross McCormack after Scotland duo Steven Whittaker and Steven Naismith dropped out of the international friendlies.
The manager named two different squads for the Czech Republic and Denmark friendlies this month with Whittaker in line to face both sides while Naismith was called up for the first fixture.
Both Caddis and McCormack will join the side for Thursday's away match in Prague.
The Birmingham City defender was last called up for the World Cup qualifier away to Serbia in 2013. He was a late addition to the squad but didn't feature in the 2-0 defeat.
McCormack, who has scored 21 goals for Fulham this season, withdrew from the Scotland squad last March when he was called up for the Northern Ireland and Gibraltar matches.
That was his first call-up since the friendly with Nigeria in London in May 2014 but he didn't get off the bench in the 2-2 draw.
Scotland take on Czech Republic on Thursday before welcoming Denmark to Hampden the following Tuesday, March 29.
