Kilmarnock boss Lee Clark says he has no concerns over Josh Magennis' state of mind for Tuesday's clash with Ross County after the forward complained he was the subject of racist abuse at the weekend.

Police Scotland are investigating the Northern Irishman's accusation that he was the target of a "racist" remark from the Hearts end during the 1-0 defeat at Tynecastle.

Officers have released a full description of the suspect with Hearts promising to assist the force with their search.

Clark revealed he spoke to Magennis on Sunday and insists he will have no problems selecting the striker in Tuesday's key game against the Staggies.

He told STV: "Josh is fine. I had a one-on-one with him but we were talking football, it was about how he performed at Tynecastle and how we thought he could improve on that.

"He was in a positive mood and he's looking forward to the match."

Asked how the player has reacted since Saturday, Clark added: "No problem. I think it has been dealt with very, very well by everybody, by Josh certainly, by the two football clubs and obviously by the Police.

"He did it in the right way, he didn't make a big fuss about it. He went through the right channels and as I said he was in good form yesterday in terms of his personality.

"He was really positive and looking forward to Tuesday."
