Andy Murray to lead start of Britain's Davis Cup defence
Scottish star will play for the first time since the birth of his daughter.
Andy Murray has been selected for the start of Great Britain's Davis Cup defence against Japan.
The Scot will play for the first time since the birth of his daughter Sophia Olivia earlier this month.
Murray has not taken to the court for a competitive match since his Australian Open final defeat to Novak Djokovic in Melbourne.
Captain Leon Smith has named a five-man group for the tie, which begins on Friday, March 4 at Birmingham's Barclaycard Arena.
Murray is joined by his brother Jamie, Kyle Edmund, Dan Evans and doubles specialist Dom Inglot. One of those players will be cut for the final selection ahead of the game.
Britain defeated Belgium in December to claim the title for the first time since 1936.
