Partick Thistle have completed the signing of Celtic youngster Aidan Nesbitt on loan until the end of the season.

The talented 18-year-old is highly-rated by the Scottish champions after impressing in the UEFA Youth League.

Nesbitt made his first team debut in the League Cup clash with Raith Rovers in September and will gain first team experience with Alan Archibald's men.

Thistle were on the search for a creative attacker after Ryan Stevenson's departure to Ayr United.

Chris Erskine will return to Firhill on a pre-contract deal from Dundee United while Robbie Muirhead returned to Tannadice earlier this month at the end of his loan deal.

Last month, Nesbitt was featured in STV Sport's Remeber The Name feature which looked at some of the country's top players to look out for in 2016.

The playmaker is unlikely to feature in the squad for Tuesday's match with Motherwell.
