Nadir Ciftci completes loan move to Eskisehirspor from Celtic
The Turkish forward has made the switch to the Super Lig until the end of the season.
Nadir Ciftci has secured a loan move from Celtic to Turkish Super Lig side Eskisehirspor, Raman Bhardwaj reports.
The Turkish forward has struggled to nail down a first-team place under Ronny Deila this season and has completed a loan switch until the end of the season.
"Nadir is currently on his way to Turkey," confirmed the player's agent Pierre Van Hooijdonk.
"We hope to reach an agreement with Eskisehirspor with regards to a loan agreement until the end of the season.
"The deal hasn't been agreed yet, but hopefully it will be today.
"Nadir just wants to play football and hopefully if this move comes off this will allow him to do that."
Ciftci only joined Celtic in the summer transfer window on a £1.5 million move, but has failed to make an impression with the Scottish Premiership champions.
The 23-year-old has scored only four goals in 22 appearances this season, with most of those appearances from off the bench.
