Andy Murray will face Novak Djokovic in the final of the Australian Open after battling past Milos Raonic in a five-set semi-final epic.

The Scot will come up against the world number one in Melbourne on Sunday, with the two players fighting for the first Grand Slam of the season.

Murray looked in trouble for large spells of his match against Raonic, falling behind twice. But he recovered to win the final two sets - although the Canadian seemingly struggled with injury through the deciding set.

"When you're playing against the best players in the world you can't afford to do anything poorly," Murray said, looking ahead to Sunday's match.

"I can't have any lapses in concentration. We have played a bunch of times here and hopefully this time there will be a different outcome."

Having fallen in the final four times previously Murray has prioritised the Australian Open this season - suffering defeat to Djokovic three times before, and Roger Federer once as well.

Djokovic made it through to Sunday's final with a comprehensive demolition of Federer in Thursday's semi-final, with the Serbian making 17 consecutive finals on the tour.

Scotland's Gordon Reid also reached his second final of this year's Australian Open, making the final of the men's wheelchair doubles.

The Glasgow player and his Japanese partner Shingo Kunieda won their semi-final against Gustavo Fernandez and Joachim Gerard 7-6 (7-3), 6-2 to set up a match against Stephane Houdet and Nicolas Peifer.
