The 6ft 5in shot-stopper joins the Easter Road outfit on a three-and-a-half year contract.
Hibernian have completed the signing of Finland Under-21 international goalkeeper Otso Virtanen.
The 21-year-old joins Alan Stubbs' side on a three-and-a-half year contract from Finnish Premier Division team IFK Mariehamn.
Virtanen is the fifth signing that Hibs manager Stubbs has made in this January transfer window, as they look to push for the Scottish Championship title.
“Otso is someone we’ve been tracking for a while and I’m delighted that we have concluded the deal," Stubbs said.
“He is a keeper with lots of potential that we’re looking forward to developing.
“I’m sure he’ll be another positive addition to the first team squad.”
Virtanen MADE 65 appearances in three years for IFK Mariehamn and has also collected seven caps for Finland's Under-21 team.
