Falkirk missed the chance to cut Rangers' lead at the top of the Scottish Championship to two points as they were held to a 1-1 draw at struggling Livingston.

The visitors went ahead a minute before the break when Craig Sibbald brought Conor McGrandles' pass down on his chest before firing past Livi keeper Marc McCallum.

But Livi levelled six minutes into the second half, Liam Buchanan firing into the roof of the net following a goalmouth scramble - his 10th goal of the season.

Paul Watson and substitute Kevin O'Hara squandered glorious opportunities to win it for Falkirk, who at least extended their unbeaten league run to 12 matches.
