League leaders Celtic hosted St Johnstone at Parkhead, with Ronny Deila's side looking to re-establish their lead at the top following Aberdeen's win over Dundee on Friday night.

Dundee United were at home against Kilmarnock in what has been described as their biggest game of the season so far. Mixu Paatelainen's side really needed three points.

Inverness and Partick Thistle clashed in the Highlands, with Motherwell hosting Ross County at Fir Park.

Meanwhile, Hibernian played St Mirren in the Scottish Championship, with a full card of League One and League Two fixtures also played.
