Saturday's Scottish football card has been hit hard by freezing conditions overnight, with a number of postponements called.

Dumbarton's clash against Queen of the South has been called off due to a frozen pitch.

St Mirren's Scottish Championship match against Raith Rovers passed a 10.45am pitch inspection, but was called off minutes before kick-off due to heavy snow in Paisley.

Dunfermline had been set to host Albion Rovers in League One, but the playing surface at East End Park was also deemed frozen and therefore unplayable.

Ayr United's fixture against Cowdenbeath has also been postponed, with Airdrionians' match against Forfar Athletic called off after heavy snowfall.

And three matches have been called off in League Two, with Elgin City's game against Stirling Albion and Berwick Rangers' clash with Arbroath also postponed.

Clyde's home match against East Stirlingshire also fell victim to the freezing conditions.
