Ross County skipper targets 'revenge' in derby clash against Inverness
Andrew Davies wants to make amends for the 2-1 defeat to the Caley Jags earlier in the season.
Ross County captain Andrew Davies is targeting "revenge" against Inverness following defeat to the Caley Jags earlier in the season.
The Staggies surrendered a seven-match unbeaten run when they fell 2-1 to Inverness in the Premiership on October 3.
They have since gone to the Highland capital and won in the League Cup but that did not quench Davies' thirst for retribution.
"It's going to be a massive game," the former Bradford defender said.
"They came up here and took the points off us so we want to go down there and get revenge. We are all up for it and ready to go."
County have scored eight goals in two games as they consolidated their place in the top six with wins over Dundee and Kilmarnock.
"When we play like we all know we can, then I'm sure we can get the result," Davies said.
"It's a big occasion for the fans and I hope they enjoy it. It's going to be two teams going for it in front of two passionate sets of fans and I hope we can come out on top."
