Scots MP reunites six-year-old girl with her lost bunny toy
Kirsty Blackman found the fluffy rabbit in July outside Westminster on her way to work.
A Scottish MP has helped reunite a six-year-old girl with her lost cuddly toy after six months of searching.
Aberdeen North SNP MP Kirsty Blackman found the toy rabbit outside Westminster on her way to work in July.
Blackman then began a social media quest to reunite the toy, who she called Bunny, with its rightful owner.
She even went as far as writing an early day motion calling on her fellow MPs to help her in the search to find Bunny's owner.
The motion declared parliament was "saddened by the discovery of the abandoned bashful bunny by the gates of the Palace of Westminster".
After no one came forward the MP turned to Mumsnet for help.
On Hogmanay, the child's mother got in touch with Blackman about the toy and Bunny was reunited with her owner on Wednesday.
