Dugdale calls for 'clarification' over Corbyn EU position
A Labour source told STV she is 'deeply concerned' over the rumours.
Scottish Labour leader Kezia Dugdale has called for 'clarification' over rumours Jeremy Corbyn may have voted Leave in the EU referendum.
Labour MP Chris Bryant, who has resigned as shadow leader of the House of Commons, said in an interview with the BBC he asked Corbyn did he vote Remain or Leave in Thursday's referendum and he did not answer.
The Rhonnda MP said: "The truth is Jeremy's management of the campaign in the referendum left many voters on polling day not even knowing which way Jeremy was going to vote. I suspect Jeremy may have voted to leave".
BBC presenter Jane Hill asked the MP if Corbyn had told him which way he voted int he EU referendum.
The MP said "he didn't answer" when he asked Corbyn if he voted leave.
Scottish Labour leader Kezia Dugdale tweeted the situation "needs urgent clarification".
A Labour source told STV that Kezia Dugdale "is deeply concerned by suggestions that Jeremy failed to clarify how he voted in the EU referendum."
On Sunday, the party's only Scottish MP Ian Murray quit as shadow Scottish secretary and has not been replaced in Corbyn first reshuffle.
Scottish Labour deputy leader Alex Rowley accused Murray of being a plotter and putting "self-interest before needs of country".
