A new drama programme for children is to be launched in Dundee.
Dundee Rep Engage is working with the council to deliver a dynamic arts education programme to enhance the lives and learning of young people from schools across the city.
Using drama, dance and music across the school curriculum, the course is hoped to increase pupils' health and self-esteem and to challenge inequalities.
The project is funded by the Attainment Challenge and run by ASPIRE.
Kenny Christie from Dundee City Council children and families service said: "We are incredibly excited to be launching this new programme of activity within the nationally recognised ASPIRE Dundee programme continuing to add to our portfolio of incredible learning opportunities for children and young people through the arts.
"Through this innovative and intense programme of work we will see some of the most incredible live theatre companies visiting Longhaugh Primary, St Francis RC Primary and Quarry View Nursery being supported by three new part time drama artist posts working within the new multi-million pound school campus."
