The week is dedicated to celebrating the lives and talents of people with learning disabilities in Scotland.
The theme of this year's week is My Generation, chosen to reflect 2018 being Scotland's year of young people.
People with learning disabilities are encouraged to reminisce about their younger lives throughout the week.
The event was launched at Bells' Sports Centre in Perth on Monday.
Perth and Kinross Council's housing and communities convener, Councillor Peter Barrett said: "Learning Disability Week gives individuals a fantastic opportunity to come together and celebrate the huge range of talents and achievements of people with learning disabilities in Perth and Kinross."
