Angus community hopes people-power can save seafront

An Angus community is hoping people-power can help save its seafront.
Residents in Montrose have formed a group to transform the town's run down pavilion and plan to help stem the eroding coastline.
The Montrose Bay Project will then take on small projects that could help towards tackling the town's major coastal erosion problem and plan to organise beach clean ups.
Jill Stronach from the group said: "The coast is changing, I mean it is changing all over Scotland.
"It is and environmental thing, these thing happen with climate change.
"However, there are certain steps we can take to stop it eroding away into your town and certainly no-one wants that."
The group also aim to take over the running of the Trail Pavilion that sits on the bay and bring it back into community use.
It was gifted to the town and opened in 1913 but has been closed for two years and has fallen into a dilapidated state.
Angus Council has been trying to sell the 100-year-old building for the last five years.
