Under a week left to apply for creative funding project
Applications for Aberdeen City Council's Year of Young People Creative Funding close on Sunday.
Young people in Aberdeen have just under a week left to apply for funding for creative projects across the city.
Applications for Aberdeen City Council's Year of Young People Creative Funding close on Sunday.
People aged between 16 and 25 living in Aberdeen can apply for up to £2000 and not-for-profit organisations and groups working with young people can request up to £10,000.
Part of the Year of Young People 2018, the project hopes celebrating their achievements, valuing their contributions to communities, and create new opportunities for them to shine.
Councillor Lesley Dunbar said: "We have had over twenty enquiries already and I'd encourage individuals and young people groups to get there applications in for Sunday to make the most for the opportunities Aberdeen City Council is creating as a celebration of the Year of Young People.
"We are totally committed to creating a platform for our young people to express their creativity and to develop new skills, projects and ideas.
"The funding we have provided will help them do just that."
