Thousands visited Aberdeen last weekend to see the city's walls transformed into works of art.

The Nuart Festival has taken place in Stavanger, Norway, since 2001 and returned to the Granite City on Thursday after a successful event in April 2017.

Artists from Argentina, Lithuania, Norway, Portugal and the UK spent four days creating their master pieces focused around this year's theme of "A Revolution of the Ordinary".

All murals will remain on the buildings permanently, creating a lasting legacy, with tours taking place in the city centre on Saturdays until the Autumn.

Event organisers, Aberdeen Inspired, will now work towards next year's event.
