Motorists face delays as A90 slip road closes for works
A section of the B979, at Stonehaven, will be closed from 8pm on Saturday until 6am on Monday.
Motorist face delays as surfacing works are due to be carried out on the A90 near Stonehaven as part of the Aberdeen Western Peripheral Route (AWPR).
A section of the B979 , between the new Ury Estate and the new A90 southbound slip road, will be closed from 8pm on Saturday until 6am on Monday.
The slip roads to and from the northbound A90 to the B979 will also be closed.
A Transport Scotland spokesperson said: "The contractor has been working closely with Police Scotland and the local authorities to time these works to take place during periods when traffic is normally quieter.
"We would advise road users who would normally use this route to plan their journey in advance so that they can reach their destination safely and on time.
"We would like to thank road users and the local community for their on-going support and patience during these construction works."
