Pretty Muddy race comes to Aberdeen for first time

Race for Life's Pretty Muddy is coming to Aberdeen for the first time this summer.
Pretty Muddy is a women-only, non-competitive 5K muddy obstacle course that women of any fitness can climb over, crawl under and charge through.
The event at Hazlehead Park will take place on Sunday, June 24.
Cancer Research UK's Race for Life family events also include the traditional 5K and 10K courses which will take place on Sunday, June 10 at Kings Links, Beach Esplanade.
Cancer Research UK spokeswoman in Scotland, Lisa Adams, said: "We can't wait to bring Race for Life Pretty Muddy to Aberdeen for the very first time.
"Pretty Muddy has the same fun and inclusive atmosphere of our much loved 5K and 10K events but with added mud, thrills and spills.
"By limbering up and mucking in, women will be uniting against a disease that affects us all in some way.
"Race for Life events are not competitive and women can complete the Pretty Muddy course at their own pace - wading their way round or making a big splash at the finish.
"Every day, 87 people are diagnosed with cancer in Scotland.
"That's why we're calling on ladies across Aberdeenshire to sign up right now and join women from every walk of life at the start line this summer."
